Hi! Welcome to my portfolio: a home for creative projects and other artistic endeavors.

I created this site for two main reasons: to showcase hours' worth of undergrad projects (I spontaneously picked up a studio art minor my senior year) and to share an integral part of me that is often tucked away from the rest of the world. 

​

To give you a little peek into my background: I spent the first 18 years of my life in Southern California until moving up the coast to attend Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, where I received a B.S. in Journalism. To anyone who asks about what I studied, though, I'll say it was a mix of journalism, PR, media and art (and then some). I've lived in Seattle for the past year-and-a-half, spending my days managing a coworking space, exploring different neighborhoods and refusing to wear more than two layers at a time.

 

In my free time, I often revert to a form of storytelling (using writing or digital media) to process and/or express my emotions. Without having any courses or assignments to prompt projects, the nature of the final products can feel way more vulnerable — sharing personal things I've written is especially soul-baring. I like to think that the contents of this space collectively reflect my experience of chasing creativity and, consequently, peeling back my own layers. 

 

As I've moved on from college and into the work force, I've struggled to pinpoint my evolved intention for this portfolio — is its purpose more of a visual resume or a public journal? Regardless of whatever I decide it to be, I invite you to take a look into some of my past projects for a better understanding of who I am. Thanks for being here!
